False impression or not, thats the kind of conduct the public expects from the police ALL the time, and to EVERYBODY. But I'm confused, is this a permanent building they are putting up downtown? Isn't that sort of illegal? They shut down the Occupy movement and all they had were tents, but its OK to build a building without a permit or anything? Don't get me wrong, personally I think we should dump our entire legislative system for the far more progressive, democratic, and fair system of the longhouse tradition. But its pretty odd that the city and the police are saying 'yeah sure, go ahead and put up a building down here'. If thats the case, the homeless shelter should maybe take a look at expanding onto various city properties.
Apparently Charles, the fact that the chief and the mayor are laughing at you about bike helmets doesn't bother you. this is a tremendous insult to all the people who have been abused by this law. I am not talking about he people who were professionally stopped and handed a ticket. I am talking about the abuse of power used in the application of this law. You experienced this yourself.
