Say what they will, Charlie, there will never, ever, ever be anyone more, or as, Canadian as our very own Thomas Charles (Stompin' Tom) Connors. He was, and always will be, ole buddy, the total and absolute epitome of what it is to be a true, true CANADIAN!!! He didn't give a rat's ass whether you were black or white, English or French, liberal or consertive, young or old, workin' stiff or welfare bum, gay or straight, protestant or catholic, jew or gentile, racist, fascist or snob, if you were Canadian, my friend, HE LOVED THE BEJEEZERS OUTTA YA!!!! Whether you were to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk, without a helmet, plant your grimey feet on the lawn of the provincial legislature, avail yourself to the services of a blowhorn, or to offer your humble assistance in helping His Worship, the local Mayor to find his elusive car, you were as much a piece, and probably more, of the Canadian fabric, than any selfrighteous or self important prime minister, premier, minister of the Crown, sargent-at-arms, chief-of-police, or legislature security guard anywhere.
STOMPIN' TOM WAS THE VERY, VERY BEST, MY FRIEND, BAR NONE. A TRUE, TRUE CANADIAN!!!!!! He did one helluva fine, fine job.
