New Brunswick R.C.M.P. soon to arrest Anti Shale Protesters???

Charles,
Here is our RCMP at work: "About 25 people attended an information meeting concerning shale gas at Penniac last night (Wednesday). The dozen cars leaving the community hall on a back road met a police road check. The police asked for only personal identification – not registration or insurance – before waving attendees on their way. It was reminiscent of police presence in the area last summer and fall around similar meetings. It is more curious than intimidating to be found in a remote road check mid-evening. [It will be interesting to learn if this becomes a pattern, or if it was an isolated coincidence.]"

Debate surrounding the case has not let up since Fredericton police arrested the blogger in January.
Just this month, a group of legal scholars sent an open letter to that province's attorney general saying that prosecuting the blogger is not in the public interest and would likely fail in court.
