P.S. Some people are really disturbed by the action of Dan Bussieres. I was told that he might shoot me?? Who truly knows the mental state of this man.

Well Charlie, my good and honorable friend, it would seem that your number one best buddy, Dan the man has absolutely outdone himself.
He has an ego the size of Quebec and a mouth to match. There is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind whatsoever that this piece of trash is a well entrenched and high up member of al qadai, probably in line to take over the position once occupied by one Osama bin Ladin.
He could do each and every one of us a huge, huge favor and a world of good if he were to go back to growing dope on airplanes.
Seems that is the way that he managed to make a name for himself in the first place.
I highly, highly suspect that his primary function in our great and noble house of puppets is to sit in a corner with his finger shoved well up his ass anyway.
You are to be commended, my friend, for fearlessly going toe to toe with him like you did, with absolutely no quams whatsoever.
Hell, he could have set off that little device he had with him and blown you, the legislature and half of downtown Fredericton from here, all the way to Afghanistan.
And the look he had on his face, well, you could write a book on that.
He came at you with a scowl on his face that looked like the ass end of a holstein cow.
A good guess would probably tell you that things probably aint goin' too damn well on the home front. Poor boy!!!
I do highly commend him though. When he gets a major snit on, his pantyhose bunched up and his jocky's in a knot, he does one helluva fine, fine job, as you yourself do in your impeccable career in journalism.

Is Dan Bussieres looking after his own interest???
Charles,
Who's interest is old man Dan looking at, his interest, the people of New Brunswick, or the ruling elites. I doubt that even Dan can't answer that, while Dan may be very knowledgeable on the subject of security and enforcement, and from his conduct he lacks diplomacy when challenged, one of the faux pas, is that he lets his emotions cloud his judgment, and possibly his ego.
Lets, get realistic here, seriously how dangerous is Charles and how much of a threat is he to Dan, very little.
What Charles is being judge on has nothing to do whether or not he is threat to anyone, but his style of doing things, his delivery of his story what seems to be the real issue. Charles in my opinion is the "Punk Rocker" of journalism, nothing wrong with that, very simple if you don't like punk don't buy the album. That simple!
In the persecution of Charles, the word Harassment has been thrown around, it has almost become synonymous with Charles, but what does harassment mean?.
In seems that in Charlie's case the concept of harassment has been given a strict conservative definition, to include asking questions to justify banning him from the legislature.
From what I understand the original problem stemmed from a story that Charles did involving a murder/suicide and that someone was either directly or indirectly connected to the person(s) involved complained that it was stressing them out.(and giving the severity of that event, very unpleasant experience for that person, which would be normal under the circumstances) but avoidance and denial does not alter course of history, and under the circumstances Charles my have lacked the sensitivity in his questioning, but lacking sensitivity is not harassment.
Another reference that is made to justify the ban "It is the employers duty to protect there employees", but protect them from what? Charles? Once again, like harassment it given a strict definition to suit the context of the situation.
Dealing with the public in general has it's risks associated with it, but there has to be some level of tolerance the what constitute a real hazard.
The only way this band will get lifted is if Dan is ordered to do so, it will not happen from him because this is personal for him, for him to reverse his decision would mean conceding that an error was made, but what is the big deal we all make mistakes. "Welcome to the human species Dan".
What makes a Charles a journalist, is he asks the following question, Who? What?, When?, Where?, and Why? regardless of his style banning him from the legislature is an assault of freedom of the press.
