I had a hard time following what that guy was trying to say but he still makes more sense than the corpo-government stasi that runs our society.Just so you know, I own a company and when I get through with my busy period at the end of the month, I am joining in and moving into the tent!
What I heard: "I have decided not to decide."SSB
Rage aganst the man!!!!! Power to the People!!!!!!!! Oh wait, hasn't that been done before - these people need to figure out what the heck their point is or better yet, go feed the hungry or something.
Anonymous #2: We (Occupy) do feed the poor. We get a lot of food donations, and it was decided early on that we need to share them. Our food is largely prepared on-site by a group called Food Not Bombs, a sister group that protests military expenditures at the expense of social programs. FNB also provides basic medical services and counseling for any homeless that happen by (we get 3-4 a week). We're also planning a series of volunteer outreach events in which we'll be helping out various non-profits as "Occupy Fredericton", and working on a series of urban service and infrastructure proposals (ie: transportation, sustainability, housing, etc). Come down and share your other ideas on how we can help improve the city!
You know what would improve the city, Xao? Removing the squatters from in front of city hall.
I've been protesting in Phoenix Square (right beside City Hall) for a month now, and I haven't seen any squatters... just Jones Masonry. I think they're paid to be there though. Nice guys either way. Maybe you should ask the city to hire a different company to do the work if you don't like them. Or maybe you should do their job for them.
Xao, you may want to open your eyes. That tent you're in? That would be squatting.
I have an idea to improve the city. Remove the squatters at City Hall.
Tough to see squatters when you are one.
