I was up early this morning and noticed a friend on my facebook on line. It was 6:00am so I asked her to bring me a Double Double???
She did and I'll let the video and pictures do the blogging!!!

Then up in the sky!!!

Goes down for the kill!!! Too bad that I didn't have a better camera....
What kind of bird is it???

P.S. IF YOU PLAN TO GO UP THERE? BRING A WALKING STICK AND LOTS OF WATER....I MIGHT ADD THERE ARE NO WASHROOMS IN THAT AREA. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE WEAK ANKLES? DON'T GO!!!!!

Reaching the highest Point in New Brunswick!!
I'm sorry that I didn't post any pictures of my much needed vacation in the North Shore.
Here's when I climbed up to the highest peak of New Brunswick.
Mount Carleton!!!

I'll let the pictures and videos do the Blogging!!

There's even some clearcut going on!!

We made a stopover beside a lake. You would believe there would be a better way to the Lake?

Here's another -

Natives come here during the summer months????

Then we begin the long ride on a dirt road. < Should be very nice in the Fall eh? >

Arriving at the Parking Lot of Mount Carleton!!!

and here we go!!!!

All uphill from here!!!

Not your normal walking trail in Fredericton!!!

I need all the luck I can get!!!

Looks like the Trails are getting worst!!!

The Guide that droved me there decided to turned around because it was too difficult for his lungs. I was left with two kids and proceeded my climb to the highest Peak of the Province.
Of course it wasn't easy for me neither. I'm so stubborn that I just continued my walk.
Lots of heaving breathing!!! and I met my favorite people - QUEBEC!!!!
Click below -
Not an easy climb at all!!
Click below -

The kids believe that I was way too slow so they ran ahead of me!!!

Th walk continues -
I forgot to bring some water with me....Safe to drink this????

I hope it doesn't belong to one of the kids???

ALMOST THERE!!

I NEED WATER!!!
THE LAST CLIMB!!! VERY STEEP!!!

Now here's a way to lose weight eh????

Garbage Bin is full!!!!

Time to go down!!!

I NEED WATER!!!!!
Can't trust drinking this spring water!!!

Over one hour later, I finally landed at the bottom of the mountain and quickly looked for Water.
I noticed three Frenchmen enjoying a few cold ones and offered to pay for a bottle of water!!

Then we went home!!!!

Everyone was very tired and hungry!!!

Kids pushing kids...no locked up bicycles in these parts of the woods!!

I got up this morning at 4:30am and couldn't sleep so I decided to get up and take some pictures of the rare Sunrise!!!
Sunrise was at 5:40am!!!
Noticed this guy pushing a Shopping Cart to the Bottle Exchange!! < 3 to 4 miles? >

I went on the Westmorland Bridge...

Then I almost hit hit by half asleep Canadian Geese. One flew right over me....

After one missed me by inches, I made a little video!!!
Click below -
Once the sun rise..the wind picked up!!

Here's a video of the City during the Sunrise!!!

I decided to go for a little walk!!!

WOW!!!! A homeless guy who slept on the bench all night!!!

There are some great picutres here. Nice work Charles!
Andy C.
Those are great shots Charles.
I don't know what to say - well, yes I do, but where do I start?
There is no artist on the planet that could do justice to those pictures.
Absolutely amazing - those bridge supports look like they were photo
shopped in there - the fog, sun, bridge, trees - reflections - truly
amazing. Haunting with the fog lifting - the lighting is fantastic - all
of them - what an eye you have...
Do me a favour? Leave all your photo archives to me in your will. Pick a
charity - I'm going on the hunt for "submit your photos" - sites on the
web. If you won't let us make you rich, - you say no one will pay - a
charity might as well benefit.
I don't think you have a freakin' clue just how great a photographer you
really are. Sigh....if I could only get you to focus on that!!
I agree 100 per cent. This is where you are truly gifted Charles.
I left Fredericton in 1981. I always loved that city - especially in the Fall with the changing colours. The skyline certainly has changed in the last 30 years, but the city has not lost its charm.
I live by the Ottawa River now, but my heart belongs to the Saint John River. In fact, I was born in the city at the junction of the Saint John and Madawaska Rivers.
I hope you will continue to post pictures of beautiful Fredericton so that I may visit once in a while and conjure up fond memories.
Really nice shots Charles.. did you get a new camera?
Charles, the first dozen or so shots are incredible! But that is my taste, the reflection shots are also spectacular. I can't believe you do so much with so little. Yet again, more for your upcoming book. Thanks for sharing these wonderfull shots. Tax Payer John
Yup, people keep sayin' it, you need to do a book of your photos. Where are those snobs at Goose Lane Editions??? They should be after you to do a book of your photos. It's a win-win, you would make money and so would they.
Nope!!! I don't have a new camera....
:(
Only three left at Harvey's....
go to walmart same prices and more camera for the buck
Great Shots Charles, good to see you are back in town!
These are absolutely beautiful photos Charles. You are a great photographer of nature at it's best
I LOVE the first shots Charles before we met up for the walk. STUNNING. They look timeless.
The reflection shots are superb too.
These people are right! You have such talent. You have an eye for capturing and framing a shot. Not many people have that.
Looks like something out of a horror movie.
My buddy jokes that if there's mornings like this, having a shotgun nearby is very handy just in case the fog is hiding hordes of zombies.
Nice pics LeBlanc
GREAT GREAT pics...wow!!
charles leblanc you are photographic genius without dough.
