I wasn't sure what was going on? I guess last year the City changed the beans on the bottom left hand side of the Bridge so this year the Engineers from Gagetown decided to give Fredericton a helping hand?
I'll just let the pictures do the talking.
Enjoy -
Time was running short!!!
and of course for safety reasons and debris off the Bridge. The Army was in present in a boat!!!
They worked very hard from sunrise till well after sunset....Good work!!!
I wasn't inside the Church so I didn't see the Prime Minister. I did take the above picture before he entered the Building.

I didn't know anything about this issue until a few readers left some comments.
I guess the Prime Minister received the Body of Christ in Church and put it in his pocket!!!
lol
Come on now? He couldn't be that stupid especially with the National Media watching his every move in Church.
What do you think?
Slow news day maybe???
HERE'S AN UPDATE!!!
Father Brien had a front row view of the service. He was there!!!
He told me that two individuals told him that the Prime Minister did consumed the wafer!!!
So? This is the end of this slow news day story!!!!!
Maybe these so-called journalists should do more investigation before printing a story???
Here's Pere Brien email!!!
Je dois dire que les journalistes doivent être en panne pour se trouver des nouvelles...jusqu'à date je connais au moins deux personnes qui ont vu Harper prendre l'hostie, la garder dans la main avec son programme et puis la mettre dans sa bouche.
End of that!
En tout cas, c'était une très belle célébration avec de beaux chants et des discours intelligents.
Bonne journée. La semaine prochaine
Pere Emery Brien
Now we have today's headline!!!!
What does this mean????
Did Jamie Irving fire himself????
What's going on????
Watch Connell Smith on CBC television for more infor during the next few days or weeks!!!
With the other News from the U.N.B. Professors this morning.
A dozen professors from the province’s three Anglophone universities have advised the Telegraph Journal that they will no longer provide that newspaper with political commentary.
The professors have taken this step out of concerns over the firing of Matt McCann, a summer intern at the TJ. McCann was fired in June for a story he wrote about opposition among UNB faculty to the University’s decision to confer an honorary doctorate on Premier Graham. While it was widely suggested that Mr. McCann had been made a scapegoat, the Editor of the Telegraph Journal claimed that he was fired because the story was not balanced and contained factual errors.
The professors did not find the Editor’s explanation persuasive. They requested a meeting with Mr. Jamie Irving, Publisher of the Telegraph Journal, to discuss the matter. When Mr. Irving declined to meet with them, the professors decided they could not in good conscience continue to provide free commentary to the Telegraph Journal. They advised Mr. Irving on July 24 that they would no longer take calls from his reporters. Their withdrawal of service will last at least until May of 2010 when Mr. McCann is scheduled to graduate from St. Thomas University with his degree in journalism.
