Downtown Fredericton Inc gives free money to its citizens at Officer's Square.

I heard on the radio that Money will be thrown away by Firemen at Officer's Square.

Of this is all the work of Downtown Fredericton.

Now? Lets go back to last year event.

It was a near disaster because the wind blew the coupons on the streets and in the fountain.

People were going nuts just to catch a coupon.

So this year Downtown Fredericton decided to hold the event at Officer's Square.

I noticed a couple of the less fortunate in the crowd.

They asked - Is this really money Charles?

lol I told them it was only coupons. You need money in the first place to buy these items at a discount price.

If it would have indeed been real cash? It would have been a riot. There would have been more people in the Square than the time Olympic Flame was in the area.

So? What was this blogger going to do? Where can I get the best shots?

I asked the Firemen if I could give them my camera so they could take some pictures from the bucket?

As in past practice, they directed me to this guy!!!



I can never get nothing from the Firemen. I always must chat with the Boss!




He had no problem so I was ready to hand my camera to the firemen. Then suddenly the Boss had a second opinion and told me it wouldn't be a good idea!!!

Sigh...I hope it wasn't because he saw my Blogger jacket???

You know Irving's employees only?

Oh well!!!

I found a spot and took a few shots!!!!

I didn't care who took the pictures. I don't have to be in the bucket. But the Boss didn't feel they could take pictures while throwing the paper money away?

Oh well...I had a good spot anyway.

My God? Some people went nuts for a coupon. A few of the papers were stuck in the tree branch. People were shaking the tree till the coupon came loose.

Once on the ground, A woman in her 40s came and chat with me nicely and then noticed a Five dollars coupon near my feet.

She quickly grabbed the coupon and walked away.

One kid shouted to her parents- That was my coupon Mommy???

Sad!!!

Beside that? I believe everything went well!!!!

from New Brunswick Climate Change Hub will host Grade 6 students at
Nashwaaksis Middle School, Fredericton, New Brunswick,
who will partake in the Copenhagen discussions via satellite.

The Diaglogues are a web-based global youth outreach initiative, delivered LIVE from the
United Nations climate change negotiations in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 7-18 December,

"We are pleased that the 2Degrees Tour has opened up this dialoguing session for students worldwide. Nashwaaksis Middle School
is fortunate to have the technology in place to be able to offer this opportunity to students," said Kati Marti,
Grade 6 science teacher at Nashwaaksis Middle School. "Our auditorium can hold several classrooms of students at once, so our intent
is to rotate classes throughout the day so that we can accommodate as many students as possible," said Gary Gallant, Vice Principal.

The Copenhagen climate negotiations promise to be a truly historic occasion. This is a unique opportunity
to be a part of it. Nashwaaksis Middle School Students will connect to youth activists and others participating directly in the negotiations,
ask questions, share perspectives, and dialogue with young people from more than 50 countries.

Don't know if you have heard or not but there is a bit of controversy up at UNB. The Student Union just voted to take away the voting rights of the international student councilor. I can't find the blog that I wrote years ago about students at UNB and STU using Ritalin to pass their exams.

Many of them are using Ritalin to get high.

This ADHD girl told CTV News she's being bothered all the time for Ritalin by students. She added she refuses to give them her prescription.







Yes....how time have change eh? People with ADHD were loners but these days? Everyone wants to be your friend so they can some ritalin.

Many of these students believe they can't be addicted to the Prescription Drug.




That's pure Bullshit!!

I was told that many kids who were forced on Ritalin turned to higher drugs later on in life.

A few months ago someone told me that Ritalin is the Drug of choice on the streets in Fredericton!!





I was approached on a few occasions asking me if I would sell them some Ritalin?

Sure? I could get the pills from my Doctor and make some good money on the side but I'm not interested.

Where are these Ritalin coming from anyway?

Yes, we do have a generation that are dependant on Prescription drugs and it's very scary what the future holds for these individuals.

Again???? WHERE ARE THESE PILLS COMING FROM????
