Everytime one is criminally charged with an offence, the crown must disclose all of it's evidence against the accused to his lawyer rior to trial. In this case, based on the CBC report, someone on the accused's side thought it would be a good idea to put the main witness's police interview on youtube... The said witness who was the person stabbed 14 times, at trial, refused to testify against the accused, yet the accused was found guilty based on the evidence of all of the other witnesses.
definition of Canadian laws :we do not care if the victims does not want to press charges ..it is up to the police with the help of the crown to press them or not ..it is up to the police if you are guilty or not then tell the crown which tell the judge which means you are going to be guilty irregardless if you present a case that you are not ....the Canadian fair justice system or marshall law in disguise
