I used to volunteer every Saturday evening at the Soup Kitchen.
It was fun!!!!
Nice bunch of people and we always have a good laugh.

During these past few months, I've been busy and didn't attend to my duties as much as I used to do.
Tonight while sitting on the stool in the above picture. I began thinking < surprise? > and it's not like it used to be?
Bob and Brenda Alexander are the king and Queen of the volunteers.

Many less fortunate people would make a special trip to the Kitchen on Saturday < I did > to taste her sweets.
My God? She's a good baker.
Last Saturday, I noticed this card on the bulleting Board.

Brenda is in the hospital in poor health. So sad!!
My prayers are with her.

Since Brenda is sick, Bob has been staying away from the kitchen to care for his wife.
This couple are the true good volunteers and I hope to see them back soon.
Now, this was bad enough?
Gene the Cook also had his health problem.

For months now he's been slowly losing his sight. Very strange!!
It was very sad to see him losing his eye sight in front of my eyes. One day, he walked pass my place. I shouted at him and he looked all over the place to locate me.
Very sad.
Now, he's on leave because he lost 90% of his eye sight.
Yes, the little Fredericton Soup Kitchen ain't what it used to be. Sad.
But people will still come around to help the less fortunate.
This is the only place were evil bureaucrats and others work on the same goal!!!
This evil bureaucrat droved in a storm to give a helping hand.

This small place is an area where people from all walks of life gather.

Lets hope in the future that people will always step forward to help the less fortunate!!!
I hope to see Brenda, Bob and Gene back soon!!!
:)
