The following severe weather advisory has been issued by the Department of Public Safety's Emergency Measures Organization:

Two significant weather systems will affect the province over the weekend. A warm front will bring 25-30 mm (one inch) of rain on Saturday, Sept. 27. This will be followed by tropical storm Kyle, which will bring wind and heavy rain to Atlantic Canada on Sunday and Monday, Sept. 28 and 29.

Significant rainfall, hurricane-force winds, and widespread power outages are possible with this storm. Environment Canada advises that rainfall of up to 100 mm (four inches) is expected, and local amounts in excess of that are possible.

Rainfall in these amounts can result in rapid increases in water levels in streams and rivers, and in localized flash flooding. Power outages are also possible, as this storm has the potential to damage trees and overhead power lines.

Marine impacts, such as high seas and heavy surf, will occur well in advance of the storm's arrival. People should be particularly cautious in coastal areas because of high winds and dangerous surf.

People living or working along watercourses or coastal areas should take steps to protect their property and remain on alert until the storm has passed.

This advisory will be of particular concern to those who have been affected by similar storms in the past.

Reality is Harper is in for a majority win.

I am NOT a Conservative, however, realistically a few things will lead to his win -

First, those who support him will vote, most who oppose him will not because they have no one else to vote for (really Dion - come on) and apathy will ead to a majority Conservative Gov't.

Personally I think voting is something every eligible voter should do simply because we can - just look at countries where people are being murdered and killed for voicing their political beliefs. So, no matter who you vote for - EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT.

I often wondered what we would do if the Second Irving Refinery was built on the coast and a huge Hurricane would hit the area?

Would all that oil go into the Bay of Fundy???

We cannot and must not have Fascists in Ottawa to go against the Less fortunate in a violent manner.

I might add that I asked Rick Miles on a few Occasions of the reason the Executives never apologized for their actions against me but they won't.







This issue will be bought to the General Meeting of the Liberal Party and the situation could turn very ugly.
