NORM MCFARLAND IS THE TRUE BUSINESS CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR OF SAINT JOHN!!!!
Charles.
McFarlane is the business development candidate, yet the paper is on team Hooton. I think this isn't the Irving's supporting her, its Jamie Irving playing grown up and supporting a candidate that the family who bought the paper and gave him job might not like. He's proving he's a big boy. Or trying.
And it's not likely hard to get his elitist, liberal artist staff to support a chardonnay sipping candidate who pretends to be a friend to the arts.

Fairness was another slogan used last time. We know what McFarlane, Hooton, Ferguson and other councillors did all in the word of fairness--
HELP THE BILLIONAIRES & FRIENDS & SCREW THE PEOPLE OUT OF TAX MONEY THEY DESPERATELY NEEDED NOW & FOR DECADES.
Corporate welfare has to stop soon.
All levels of government have allowed the people of Saint John to be "Raped" for years.
Abuse has to stop soon.
A hand up we have done for years but now it is our turn.
No one is saying the Irvings don't help people or supply jobs. Whose money are they using not theirs. All the grants, tax breaks, tax concession, all the deals with no permits to pay and low interest loans and loans that go unpaid and written off. This has to stop and they need to step up and pay and then we as a City will have money to pay their way.
Water is a natural resource we need to keep and not allow private companies to take over and then gouge us and sell our water back to us and to other countries.
Irvings needs more water and uses more water in Saint John (more then a large city does in a day).
Sell them the water but they should pay a rate that is fair.
We here in Saint John pay for oil & gas that is refined here. Do we get a break "NO". Have we ever"NO".
We get transportation charges and it is right here in our area. We get all the health risks (lungs diseases) cancer and many more problems. No discount for that. We pay more for health care, taxes and taxes on taxes. Whwn the price is cheaper in the far location of other countries something is wrong.
Our government has not lowered our taxes on gas since it keeps going higher. We have to take our power back. They misuse our tax dollars. Just look at the way our roads, hospitals and many more problems we have. They need to stop this abuse now.

Nice to make deals but bottom line we have to pay for taxes that Billionaires should pay for.
Education and powerful jobs don't always mean that they have common sense.
He has lost his common sense so many times. He is also running at large to get the votes.
Ward systems works for them.
We as voters have less power to vote. You can only vote in your ward and at large.
We should be able to vote for anyone we want to if we believe they will represent all people not just the Irvings.
Now thanks to Hooton and her followers. The Telegraph did a great job of influencing people so that will continue all through the election process.

In fact you don't have to be that involved to know the Irvings are hoping and doing their best to not let Ivan Court get any support or positive coverage.
He is the best and hopefully people who don't know him will give him a chance. Those who know him have and will support him on Election Day.

They already did; when everyday they printed in the paper the people wanted the ward system. They asked people who really didnot understand and supported their view.
Suggesting we all wanted it.
Yes they do support Hooton and some others. She gets the colored ink and large picture on the front part of the paper while others get black and white on a second page.
Also they use choice words and allow her large articles with her view and yes a great pictures not like bad pictures of others.
People who don't read the paper don't understand and how can you say it is not true.
Irving paper does control all news.
So many things are never printed.
But believe what you want stay in your fantasy world that all is right with you and the world.

Because we can vote two people in a ward don't waste a vote on more then one if that is the only person you trust.
At large is the same; vote for one only if no one is who you want.
